Practical Sailor has reviews on many different boats.

|hellosailor||If a web search for the specific models doesn't turn anything up, look for owners' forums, and ask owners. You can also ask the makers directly for reviews and other information, they often have them on file even for older models. If the maker doesn't want to talk to you...that's something to consider too.|

Where to get free yacht reviews/model info
I'm hoping to buy either a Beneteau or Jeanneau, 37ft to 40ft. I am in Greece so have a huge selection. However, despite having taught smaller yacht sailing for 6 years, I know little about the different models. I thought it might be similar to buying a car where theres bucket loads of info on every model - its history, performance, value, good points, bad points, etc, etc. It would be useful to see a chronological history to see where things were added/removed. That may help pin-point the model I'm after. However, I can't find too much out there thats free to download.
So, does anyone know any sites that may be of some use.
