btrayfors I agree. Bought some at the Boat Show over a year ago, and have refinished two cabin soles (teak and holly). Working slowly on rest of boat.

By the way, as a test I put some on a few pieces of teak trim in the cabin. Nine months later it looks great.

Goes on very easily, high gloss, non-skid when wet.

Good stuff!

camaraderie The stuff is incredible...works great...no sanding between coats and goes on with a foam brush. NOT slippery but looks like glass!

ebs001 I just saw today the product that MLS above bought for sale at sailorssolutions.com/. It is an interesting site as they only sell products they think are the best. You can email them for more info and they are very good about answering. They have a number of products they sell so it is interesting sight for alot of sailors.

Based on info from Practical Sailor, I purchased a product called "Ultimate Sole" at the Annapolis Boat show. It was highly rated and the samples I saw at the show looked great and according to PS offered excellent grip.

I can't say how my attempt will turn out, as the product is sitting in my office until the boat is pulled and we start doing all our off season projects. If my results are anywhere near as good as the samples, I'll consider it a great success.

That's a link to the Dashew website. Somewhere in there is an article on how they treat cabin soles. Have a search, from what I remember it was good for treating ply or plain timber flooring.
