Places that have pools (somewhat) nearby:
- Haverstraw Marina Haverstraw Marina | Your deep water resort on the Hudson.
up the Hudson about 5 - 7 hours. Slips only.
- Sea Cliff Yacht Club Sea Cliff Yacht Club - Home
western LI Sound in Hempstead Harbor. Restaurants are a good uphill walk.
Moorings only.
- Huntington Yacht Club https://www.huntingtonyachtclub.com/default.aspx
Huntington Harbor off Huntington Bay - beautiful spot. Moorings only.
- Larchmont Yacht Club The Larchmont Yacht Club, Larchmont New York
Western LI Sound.

There must be others.

Many Yacht Clubs have a list of other clubs they have "reciprocity" with. This can mean that if you belong to a reciprocating club you may get a mooring for free or cheaper then your average "transient" Joe who belongs to no "Club" at all. Some clubs try harder then others to maintain their aura of exclusivity.

Re: Sand Hook and South

Andreas, I don't think you're going to find a pool at any NJ marinas, around Sandy Hook/ Raritan bay. The Highlands has plenty of restaurants. You can just cross the bridge to the beach. Most of the Public North Jersey Marinas are pretty rough around the edges.

Great Kills Harbor Staten Island is nice..with several nice restaurants within walking distance. People swim/wade in the bay there.

If you're looking for resort type marinas, you might want to try the Long island sound.
Huntington Bay..West Shore Marina had a nice pool that I enjoyed while waiting for a part to arrive once.

Raritan Bay Marina in Keansburg, New Jersey, United States

Point Comfort in Keansburg, New Jersey, United States

I've not been to these, but did stop at 79th st in nyc.

Try the Richmond County yacht Club in Staten Island. No pool but great restaurants around.

Not familiar with any marinas with pools in Sandy Hook area. Manasquan Inlet has a mom and pop marina (Brielle Marina now Hoffmans West) that is next to a nice restaurant and close to the beach for swimming.
