Cruisingdad I did reply back to your comment about advice for beginners thread, but I will say that Colgate has put out many of these. John Rousmaniere also did the Annapolis Book of Seamanship in a video... and no offense to him, but he is not exactly the picture of an actor.

Still, if you are doing it to have fun and try and teach, go for it. But I don't know that you will make any money off of it as Steve and John are renound seamen, in my opinion.

PS To answer your question, you can go through everything for a beginner from stepping on the boat, rigging, sailing, to stepping off the boat. Will be a long video though.

Learn to sail dvd

I am a student in my final year of university in England. For my degree i am creating a dvd teaching people to learn to sail. I was wondering if anyone has any idea of what content i should use, and if they think this would be useful for learners?
