Re: Bronze name plates ("badges") for Pacific Seacraft

I checked with Thumper about a year ago and they did not have any badges. I have a photo of the badge on a 34 or 37 (the one my son used to create a CAD drawing for my stainless model), but I can't seem to upload it. I'd be happy to email it. They are chrome over something.

Did you check with Pacific Seacraft?
May be they have them for sale.

Can you send a picture? My Crealock 37 doesn't have any plates.

Why are you replacing them if they're bronze? Bronze doesn't rust/decay/etc. On my 1990 31, they were made of pot metal and virtually disintegrated after 20 years in Florida. My son made CAD drawings and had a new set made by 3D printing in stainless steel by a company in Europe. I didn't dare ask what they cost.

Bronze name plates ("badges") for Pacific Seacraft

I need to replace my Pacific Seacraft bronze name plates ("badges") that attach to the sides of the aft portion of the cabin trunk. I've contacted a metal artist who will cast these. Cost is $300 for the mold and the first two name plates. Each additional plate is $50. The larger the order size the lower the price-per-plate (because the initial set-up charges are distributed to more pieces). (Note: the above mentioned costs are approximate and do not include shipping or taxes).
Does anyone else need these badges?
