Re: Oconto Wi

We like Nicolet Bay which is surrounded by Penninsula State Park. Our anchor sets well and a tender is needed for any shore excursions. It can get busy on weekends.
We find slips up beyond Sturgeon Bay to be a little expensive but we have stayed at a marina in Little Sturgeon Bay for a reasonable rate. We berth at Hi Seas Marina in Oconto which is an awsome marina but across the bay from the Door penninsula.

Have a Great trip!

Re: Oconto Wi

Welcome to SailNet.

We are headed up to Green Bay/Door County this August. Any good places to spend the night on the hook up there?

Oconto Wi

Hello All,

My my wife Carol and I (Brian) are new to sailNet. Oconto Wi is our home port and we sail on the Green Bay of lake Michigan in a Tartan 33.
We've done a little small boat sailing previously but the T33 is a whole new experience for us and we're loving it.
