life is tough up here in maine,the lobster is so cheap everybody got a bag full[cheaper than meat] and its a 1 container dish,boilim up

He's still vertical (his name is actually Graham Kerr). His show was always one of my mom's favorites.

Regarding Pot noodles, upmarket or not ... most asian supermarkets stock the ingredients for various forms of noodle soup without the noodles. Noodles themselves are a doddle to cook and you end up with a far superior result to the overcooked gunk that comes out of the pot noodle containers. Its still a one pot operation but the results will not cause your taste buds to mutiny.

We have kept pot noodles on board for emergency supplies but it takes a lot for me to eat 'em when the real thing is so easy and damn near as quick.

sorry lads

late to the feast

since I started posting videos on gastronomy I have been sent somefree stuff

dehydrated soup from the USA _$4.25 per sachet

I have also been sent upmarket pot noodles

KTL will be starting gastronomy courses in February

it is a three part course spread across three weekends

£100 per delegate

the course will cover

1/boiling water

2/boiling cans

3/boiling my head

I try to gas grill as many food items as possible while anchored up for the night, which makes just about anything taste better. Turkey Kielbasa, which is just OK on the stove, becomes a delicacy when cut into 1-inch chunks and placed on skewers inter-spaced with chunks of Vidalia onion, fresh mush rooms, sweet red bell pepper slices, etc..., then placed on the gas grill. Makes an entire meal in just a few minutes.

When that's not possible, I pull a TV dinner out of the boat's freezer, put about a 1/2-inch of water in a pot, then sit the TV dinner in the water and bring it to a boil for 10 minutes. It's just like putting it in a microwave and tastes the same - mediocre!

I made a special lifting device for the TV dinners, one that provides a platform that keeps the plastic tray from making direct contact with the bottom of the cookpot, and additionally, allows you to easily and safely lift the TV diner from the pot. I made the lifting device from a length of brazing wire. When I go to the boat today, I'll try to remember to shoot some photos of it.

ergo my reference in the OP to Dylan's "explosive" talents.

As MDBEE mentions, DW has done a lot of testing on this and had thus far failed to either blow himself or his boat(s) to kingdom come. Not without trying I can vouchsafe.
