Washington was where we wanted to go for the training, but this course is out of New Bern. You picked a lovely town to settle in! May be where we put a boat one day if this hobby sticks!

Welcome, and have fun! You will enjoy the folks at ECSS. Come say hi at Carolina Wind when you get a chance to sail up to Washington!

North Carolina Newbies

We are a pair of opposites that somehow got together!

She is an accountant, he likes to spend.

He is a former whitewater kayak instructor and guide, she likes to stay dry (I know, I know...).

She likes quiet time, he likes the crowds.

She is a clean freak, he, well, is not...

We did both find a thing in common, we both love our 3 y/o son unconditionally.

And we agreed to take the Combo ASA 101 and 103 class in a couple of weeks at East Carolina Sailing in New Bern. We can't wait!

Tammie and Steve
