You might want to log in over at The Starting Point on Ericson Yachts!, and put your notice in the For Sale forum. Just make it clear whether you are splitting the title or just looking for help with expenses. However you structure it, your insurance company company will be involved, too.

Lots of (boat, plane, ?) owners have shared ownership and expenses successfully over the decades, albeit it working out badly for some others. Kind of like any relationship!

27 Ericson to share

I have an Ericson 27 docked on St. Simons GA. It's a great older boat - although it has a new Yanmar - bottom paint - remade hatches - and is being upgraded all around when I find time. I take her out every chance I get and work at refitting as often as possible. I'm looking for someone to share in the ownership of this boat as I don't get to St. Simons as often as I would like. If you love to sail and putter with upgrade projects - let me know.
