Re: Best Anti Seize for aluminum saildrive zinc

The quintessential anti seize compound is:

SAF-T-EZE Moly Grade Anti-Seize, Moly 50, Blue Moly and Dry Moly

it's conductive (good) and chemically inert so corrosion is not a factor.

Items like Perfect Seal Sealing Compound do a good job of keeping out the water in a neat way

Mercury 2-4-C grease also does good job in saltwater without galvanic issues

Best Anti Seize for aluminum saildrive zinc

Hi All,

I will hauling out soon for maintenance and want to at that time change the zinc on top of Yanmar Saildrive. I want to use an anti seize that does not contain copper. Does anyone have a product suggestion available in USA for use with aluminum in a salt water environment?

Thank you for your help.
