A PSC? Likely no discount...they pretty much get their price, the yard/dealer may offer some "discounts" on equipment or electronics...

A production boat sitting on the dealer lot, 10-15% if you are good at negotiating and are willing to walk, if need be. You do need to be careful if playing a dealer against another, as they do talk and some builders have dealers with a "territory" and they are not allowed to sell outside their areas...

Rather than a discount, you may be better getting the selling dealer to allow you to have a binding survey done with YOUR surveyor on the new boat, with a written commitment to complete the identified items within a certain period or lose the held back last payment of 10-15%...

YMMV

Re: New Boat Prices

You should expect around a 10% discount off the list price.

New Boat Prices

We are shopping for the next, hopefully final boat. I like the 40' but the price is a bit out of our comfort zone. We have not been to a PSC dealership yet and were wondering if anyone has had any luck getting a boat for less than listed price. Thanks.
