Re: Storage in Benes?

Hi Brad
You don't refer to the Beneteau 40 which I guess "replaced" the 393 but it has even more open space (so less storage). Though with the wider stern it does have huge cockpit and cockpit lockers.
I looked at 393s and went for the 40 because it's so open and bright. Also we wanted a proper V berth that two adults could be comfortable in. I've two friends with 393s and they do have what seems to me quite a bit more storage compared to the 40. There's obviously also all the less convenient places to stow stuff ... behind, under cushions, bilge, hang small "hammocks" for veggies when cruising etc. But you just have to get on board and look around to get that right boat for your family. Happy hunting.

Storage in Benes?

Hi all- considering a 393/411. Can any Beneteau owners provide some insight as to storage on these boats? Adequate for long term cruising? My fear is that the cabin space is so vast at expense of storage.. True? If I get the 3 cabin layout perhaps I could split one of the aft cabins for storage- but hate to buy a boat with a project to do right off the bat. Any input? Thanks on advance.
