Re: New Here

I'm curious how you like the Mac so far? I had looked at a Hunter 260 (26' water ballasted like the Mac) and was amazed at how large it was in comparison to my 22' Starwind... The hull was huge!

New Here

Just signed up .
We are Glenn & Joanne and we mostly liveaboard our Macgregor 26X . Currently we are anchored in the Mobile River , watching it rain .
Our home is Montgomery Ala and we are headed there to spend Christmas with our kids .

We having been boating for several years , but we are new to sailing and sailboats . We have owned Bayliner cabin cruisers , but in retirement knew we couldn't afford to put gas in them . So we chose a Mac with a Honda 50 .

So far we have made two cruises in the Ala / Florida area . Each cruise has been about 6 weeks long .

Looking forward to learning from this forum !
