Mine is under the companion way. It does make a nice step

Re: Galley pictures

Southtron, jealous. It looks like a great day to be sailing. So the one in the starboard berth is pretty much the same design as the Catalina 22. I'd like to see a picture of the galley under the companionway. I have a somewhat hard to see picture in the brochure. I think that's where I'll end up putting mine since it seems like a good use of the space under the companionway. And it will also give me steps and it would be nice to be able to get to the sink a little easier.

Re: Galley pictures

here's the pictures you requested .
there is a wooden rail screwed to the bottom that rides in the track on
the boat
the propane stove sat on that little shelf and 2 small frying pans and the hose to connect
small propane bottles were in the little cabinet under the shelf .

i am going to make some kind of gimbaled shelf for the propane stove to sit on .
use a rubber basin to wash dishes in and water jugs to hold the water

yesterday was a fine day for sailing here in south louisiana

And I'd love to show you mine but I'd be too embarrassed! LOL That's my project for next year. At the moment I'm using a rough plywood "holder" for my 2 element alcohol Origo burners. I plan on making one that has the sink but no water tank. As what was mentioned in the last post my engine is on that side as well and weight is an issue.

Re: Galley pictures
