Re: Books by Sailors

I haven't quite finished writing this one yet. It will be a thriller in the Dan Brown vein. The book will tell the story of Santiago, a sailor in the Mediterranean Sea. Santiago inadvertently harpoons a nun and is drawn into the intrigue of the Catholic Church.

I am no stranger to controversy. my previous work drew the ire of geologists and the Jane Goodall Society. My futuristic epic, Tar Sands of The Apes, was based on the premise of an intelligent simian culture and their search for an alternative fuel source.

I'll let you know when I'm published so you can pick up a copy.
Or - wait til I've sold the film rights. (Are you listening Tom Hanks)?

Just finished my autographed copy last night. Good read. You can probably find it at one of his websites: Welcome to sitesALIVE! or Race France to France

This spring while sailing from Bermuda I read: A Voyage of Madmen, by Peter Nichols. The first solo, non-stop race around the world. The London Times Golden Globe Race. This was a GREAT book.

Hi, Livia,
Love your tag - "Vagabond in Training."

No, I didn't necessarily mean self-published, but mostly Books by Cruising Sailors who aren't already famous (at least in the sailing community) and who could use a little push on their books to help them continue to afford to be a Vagabond. Lin and Larry Pardey are already well established, and I have a links to their books on Frugal Mariner's 'Books for Boaters'

But I hadn't heard of Janna Esarey - I'll have to get a copy - intriguing title. I'll include that one.

How about "Days of Deja vu" by Jonathan Reid. Certainly not new, but a great read. Available through Amazon as an e-Book.

Consider this a formal chastisement if you have as chance to plug a fellow sailor's book and don't.
