Re: Seafair sailboat

If you click on "The seafarer 24" in my post you will see the specs for a centerboard and fixed keel. That is what the boat in question is. But, Legend1673 did not post a picture, so ??? .... But, it is good news for him if it is a Seafarer 24, maybe. Some were kit boats and maybe that is why seller says it was" built" in Washington. What does title say ? Hope to hear from Legend1673....

Re: Seafair sailboat

That picture by bljones looks like one type of Seafarer 24 to me. See seafarer 24 for sale s/v Satori - 1973 Seafarer 24 For Sale - Home and Seafarer 24 sailboat for sale .
......In this model Seafarer made different cabin shapes. One is a "Futura" with 5ft 10in headroom and other is called "Classsic" deck (4ft 9in headroom) cabin shape. The Seafarer in bljones pic is same with two small windows forward and one large window behind it. This web site about Seafarer Research makes it sound GREAT....McCurdy & Rhodes designer and 1/2 in thick fiberglass at centerline.... The Seafarer 24

So does anyone know anything about it?

Re: Seafair sailboat

Looks worth 'a look', I'd say... trailer included for (presumably under) $2K - not a bad looking boat.

Re: Seafair sailboat

Yep, you're right it's not a seafarer 24.

Seafair sailboat

I have been looking for a pocket cruiser for a first/learner sailboat and came across a listing for a 1974 Seafair 24. I couldn't find any information online and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this boat before. The current owner stated that it was manufactured in Washington State and was sure it was not a Seafarer. Any info or links would be appreciated. Thanks.
