Dirk...you're betting on a long shot....but for what its worth...I haven't seen him in Ocean City.

You say he was a recluse, yet he was looking for companionship????

Is this person a US citizen? That may be why you have not heard back from them if they attempted to go to Cuba.

Missing Boat

HI folks, I'm looking for a friend who I have lost contact with him and his boat "Outsider". His name is Andrea. It's been 5 years. Now he was a recluse but I still would like to find him. My worry is he wasn't the best sailor and I fear the worse.

Last I saw him was when I left him in Ocean City after sailing from Sandy Hook. He was heading to Cuba where he was told he could find lots of companionship. The boat is a 50', white hull, single mast, home build. Outsider is black lettering. Ya he did build it only took 15 years.

Other than the Coast Guard any ideas?
