I can't jinx it just yet, but they had an offer accepted on a really good boat for them. Details in a week!

That Hans Christian looks awfully nice! I'd live aboard that! My folks didn't consider it though because they wanted 2 diesels for the redundancy. I recommended a single diesel and a mast and sails for redundancy but that discussion didn't go anywhere....

Look at Nordhavn. Like this 40 which has a "door" on the starboard side and wide walkaround decks.

I've seen a couple of these come into the marina here and like the looks of them. A little smaller than your folks are looking for, but I kind of like the different look from the typical "big white boat".
