trecksail -- not sure what you are looking for but finding a liveaboard from ft lauderdale through miami is almost impossible - there are a couple of places to moor a boat and liveboard but very difficult and expensive - your best bet may be to find someone who has a slip and selling the boat and see if you can get the slip with the boat - i know o one person who is selling a 32' (i believe) that is at a slip in dinner key marina and she is not getting a new boat -- it is just getting impossible to find a slip of any kind in south fla if you want to liveaboard - but if you work hard enough something may come open

|CocoaMoe||Happy Holidays,Where in Fl are you wanting to go? The Keys are the best place if you plan to cruise in the Caribean. There are a lot of boats in that size for sail.Still lots of places that allow liveaboards, and you can't beat the weather.|

Anchoring/mooring in Florida?
Hi all, As I'm loosing my mind up here in the midwest with a drydocked boat, I'm thinking of picking up a 20 - 25'er down in Southern Florida for some winter sailing. Does anyone know of any good places I could anchor or moor the boat cheaply? I'd love to be able to hit the Bahamas or Dry Tortugas every so often!
