A light Embat wind, 7 knots, that kept changing through the day welcomed the first day of racing of this 37 edition of the Trofeo Princesa Sofía-Mapfre. Pablo Arrarte finished second in the Finn class, Javier Hernández was third in Laser and team Iker Martínez/Xabi Fernández was third overall in the 49er, bringing the best results of the Spanish team.
