ISAF - Connect To Sailing @ Sail Search Blog

It is based upon grass roots activities with a focus on youth with the aim of building strong and lasting foundations for community sailing programmes. It aims to expand and develop participation in sailing by attracting newcomers to the sport and retaining both newcomers and existing participants. One of the stated objectives of the Connect To Sailing program is to introduce a million new sailors to the sport of Sailing over the next ten years. This program is being driven by Tim Coventry who is an ambassador at large visiting promising programs incountries all over the world and helping them by giving them ISAF accreditation, networking opportunities and advice.
