The Monsignor Daly Memorial Skating Rink in Brighton isn't just a wintertime draw. Crew teams that row the Charles River meet at the state-owned property on the bank of the river this time of year. Exiting the parking lot at rush hour, however, is hardly smooth sailing. It's more like skating on thin ice.
