WATERLOO - As the curtain rose on the 2006 high school baseball season, Eric Bearbower brought down the house. Waterloo Columbus? junior right-hander shut down Waterloo West on five hits as the Sailors opened their season with a 6-2 win at Danny VanSyoc Field Tuesday.
