Herbert Karlovits, in his 27-foot sloop Horizon, crossed the finish line in one hour and eight minutes--two minutes ahead of Blake Hoffert's 32-foot Blue Jay and 10 minutes ahead of Guy Montpetit's 20-foot Bailero.
