Last week I took a group of tourists to Tettegouche State Park on a kayaking trip through Superior Coastal Sports. We were having lunch on a secluded beach looking out over Lake Superior when a wiry man with a large gray beard came canoeing up in a beautiful red wooden canvas canoe.
