The Premiere Gallery in Pawleys Island will hold an artist reception for painter George Rothery Jr. today. Rothery has been interested in art since the first grade when he drew ships and airplanes, and he got his early inspiration from summers in Barnegat Bay, N.J., where he developed a love of sailing and boat racing.
