Kinmen, Sept. 24 (CNA) More than 1,300 Taiwanese devotees of Matsu, the Chinese goddess of the sea, left the outlying island of Kinmen Sunday for a pilgrimage to a Matsu temple in Meizhou in China's southeastern province of Fujian via direct sailing.
