Foreign boat approaches Christmas Island (Hastings Gazette)

Border protection officials are monitoring a foreign boat sailing close to Christmas Island, the government says. The RAAF detected the boat heading towards the island on Monday, Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews' office said on Tuesday night.
