He wasn?t supposed to stay in one place too long. Ambition wouldn?t allow that. Mickey DeLamar, 59, an Arkansas native, came to Mesquite in 1970 on his honeymoon with wife, Beth, and never left. It may be the only promise he never kept in his marriage.
