Bob Young wrote this article some time ago lamenting the demise of sailing on Lake Oswego, OR. As a local, I echo the sentiment. The response he gets, however, is amusing:
Well buddy, its the 20th century get with the program, its called a motor boat deal with it, you do not even live in Lake Oswego. I mean everbody knows that sailing is for "a different group"

Given the dates of the article and its clever retort, I think the responder has unwittingly cast himself in yet another "different group." Welcome to the new millennium, buddy. Get with the program.
As for dealing with motor boats, I have done so, and with highly satisfactory results.
