For any of you contemplating a trip to the carribean particularly Antigua please beware i suggest you go to the above blog spot to start your research. I rcently sailed with my Indonesian Wife from the chesapeake where we had our work cut out for a month getting Yuliana ready for sea as i has recently purchased her. My partner had never been sailing before so a little training there as well. All smooth seas down the chesapeake and onto Bermuda where we had 10 days of work and a good look around as well before heading of to Antigua i was originaly going to Bonair but after stopping at Jolley Harbour and seeing how land locked it was and all the secutity there decided to leave the boat there until i was ready to take her to the Pacific later in the year, Unfortunately our happy Adventure came to an abrupt holt when on the last night of our stay my wife was Raped on the Boat after one of the local drug dealers put me to sleep, a full Police report was made but unfortunately until now no police report has been recieved by us and no drug fein with the alias of Cracker Jack has been apprehended.Nothing has changed much in Antigua when i was there last whilst working in the Super Yacht Industry in the early 90's i was witness to 3 yachties who were tortured raped and murdered on Barbuda Dont let your guard down people , just when you feel safe be extremely vigilant or you to could pay the price, the pain continues....
