One of the reports says they were leaving Portsmouth to go to Annapolis to ride out the storm, at the time they were making the decision what to do the forecast models showed the upper bay and Annapolis in the hurricane track. Supposedly they were liveaboards but it makes you wonder how experienced they were with actually sailing, this sure seemed like every page out of the what not to do book. Maybe someday the owners will give a honest interview that others can learn from, maybe there boat actually survived the beaching.
