I live aboard a 1985 Vagabond 47' sailboat. I need some major deck repairs to the main teak decks. As with most boats built in Taiwan during the 1980's with teak decks there are some areas of rotten core in the fiberglass under the teak decks. I was wondering if anyone has any first hand knowledge of boat yards in the Caribbean that do good, reliable, and affordable work, (i.e., Guatemala, Honduras, etc. ). The boat yards in the US are outrageous on price.
