anybody ever sailed s. cal to hi in dec?
by seabrookedan 11-17-2012

Im wondering if im nuts to attempt to sail to maui in a few weeks in a 35'er. How often and bad are storms inroute? Also would a direct course or a big j-hook be better. If i j-hook i itend to angle down and out from san clemente island. I will NOT hug the coast of mexico under any circumstances. I appreciate any knowlegde imparted to me.
