Reminds me of a delivery from Ft. Lauderdale to Saint Martin I did 20 years ago. Engine had quit two days before and then a storm out of the north brought 20 foot seas about a hundred miles north of PR. We lost a head sail and couldn't raise the main because of its condition. (That's why the owner didn't deliver it himself, but I digress). We finally sailed into Jost Van Dyke arriving at 3:00 AM. What an adventure!

And so therein lies a question. What happened to the boat in the article that they could not make it in on their own?
