Spirit 6.5

I find a lot of info on the 23 ft Spirit but not the 21 ft (6.5). Would like to find other owners of the 6.5 to connect to and share information.

Re: Spirit 6.5

I have never heard of this before, and Google agrees. Are you sure it is not a Catalina 21? The older models look similar and my 23 is often mistaken for a Catalina

Re: Spirit 6.5

I own a 6.5. Bought it last year, though PO incorrectly advertised as Spirit 23. Love it so far.

Re: Spirit 6.5

I have a 79 Spirit 6.5. I been doing a little winter maintenance and sending her back to the slip tomorrow. I also have a friend with a 80 Spirit 23. We sail mostly on Cross Lake, in Shreveport, La.

It's about 5 miles long of open water and another 2 of flooded cypress.

Re: Spirit 6.5

Silverado, I recently purchased a Spirit 6.5 and I will be refitting the Boat completely. I’m based in Cutler Bay, Fl. And Sail in Biscayne Bay “Miami”. I will greatly appreciate all the help I can get, especially with the pop top mechanism. I will post most of the pics I have soon.-
