spirit 23 jib halyard block ?

what block are you using for your jib halyard ? while my mast is down from the hurricane i thought i would look at replacing some stuff . well our west marine has nothing close to what is on there now .

i have two tired looking stainless steel harken blocks with no numbers on them . not a whole lot of places selling sailing gear where i live .
someone please recomend a good block to put on there

Re: spirit 23 jib halyard block ?

Did the hurricane take your mast down?? We need to see pictures of this please. Are you talking about the vertical blocks attached to the cabin, the horizontal blocks on the cabin or the blocks on the mast itself ?? Pictures would be nice.

Unless that block is seized completely, you'd be surprised at how well you can restore it. Especially if it's stainless. Clean it, grease it, & it''ll be good for another 20 years.

You should be able to get these almost anywhere?? Obviously just get ones to match the halyard diameter, any brand will do the job I would think.
