O'Day 28 - Dime Sized Hole in Bow

After heavy storm last night, I saw a dime sized hole in the glass on the boaw that I had never noticed before. It is perfectly round and was not made by the storm/bashing the boat took. Maybe there was a plug there. Anyone know what it is or why its there ?

Hole in the bow

I agree with Nathan-sometimes stuff shows up that you just never had the right angle to see before. If it is the anchor locker drain, don't plug it, but make sure the hose from the hole in the locker connects to the drain.

Hole

Is it right on the point of the bow??? It possible could have been for a bobstay. I attached a picture showing where the bobstay fitting hole is on my boat.
