Trailer search

I am thinking of buying an '85 O'Day 26, and need a trailer for it . It is unusual in that it has an inboard motor. I am wondering what kind of a trailer I need , and if the inboard will make any difference. The boat has a swing keel, a 2'6'' draft . Any suggestions appreciated. Also, I'd like to know where to get a manual for this boat, as I know nothing about it, except that I want it.

You're lucky, assuming the keel retracts completely, you only need a trailer with two bunks and a plank in the center. And a couple of bow pads. You may find many a powerboat trailer to fit your needs; they're quite easily modified or adjusted to your boat.

O'Day 26 Owner

This forum has little activity. There are other sites with O'day information. Search the web.

Try ODAYOWNERS.com, part of sailboatowners.com, and the ODAY group on Yahoo. You will probably find more visibility there. Luck and have fun.
