Are men dogs or pigs (and are pigs smarter?)

You guys crack me up - I will be wearing thongs (as in my Rainbow sandals)! But, somehow I think you may have had other things on your mind besides my well-worn flip flops and other foot wear...

Wow! I thought this was "fight club" not "let's ogle chicks club" - good thing I started my own thread!

Anyhow, my question is this: are men more like dogs or more like pigs? As far as I know both of these animals tend to sail in their birthday suits! Also, a dog will eat its own vomit which is pretty sick, whereas pigs pretty much live in excrement - take your pick, boys!

If that is the case for either of you fellows, please warn any lady pirates in advance - I may have to retract my offer to be part of your crew!

Now wait just a second here. First of all, I don't think you are being totally honest here dude. Your name is Sailing....Dog after all. Like you would complain if there was a bunch of attractive women wearing thongs onboard. And let's remember here, she's a stinkpotter!!!! She has to wear a thong just to be in that club. And, her boyfriend must have a mullot. It's part of their Code man, it's part of their Code.
As for you Booty. Your threads were getting tedious...you need the action. Besides I don't think anyone is ogling you. For all we, (The Fight Club), know you could weigh like 800 lbs. Sure, right now you could be lying in bed smoking menthol cigarettes and waiting for Dick Gregory to come over and try to talk you into getting out of bed! lol.

I would never object to a bunch of attractive women wearing thongs onboard my sailboat... was just pointing out that making it a requirement is a bit chauvanistic.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

600 lbs. woman survives getting thrown through sunroof

Town N Country, Florida – A woman is in stable condition after being ejected through the sunroof of her SUV during an accident.

Thirty-seven-year-old Ruth Matthews told paramedics that another vehicle cut her off in traffic, and she took evasive action to avoid a crash. Her Isuzu Amigo rolled over and she was thrown through the sunroof and onto the roadway. Investigators say she was not wearing her seatbelt.

Paramedics initially tried to fly Matthews to Tampa General Hospital, but her weight, estimated at 600 pounds, made it impossible. Emergency crews were able to transport her to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

Authorities are continuing their investigation.

There's gotta be some sort of lesson here about ballast and weight distribution on the boat.

Is anyone really surprised by SUV gymnastics when ya mount 600 lbs. that high above center of gravity?

Yes Exactly.....

For example, you have to balance the heeling moment of the sails versus the righting moment of the boat which is provided by the keel. (In racing boats the crew). In order to control the heeling moment under control, you can feather the sails or just reef.

Or just ask your 600 lb. crew member to sit on the high rail ...(sorry, couldn't help myself)

Yes...It always come back to overpowering the sails. Racers intentionally overpower the sails and add additional ballast by placing crew on the rail. (I can hear our more timid readers bristling at the thought of overpowering).
Of course one advantage of a 600 lb crew member would be that you could carry less people to achieve the same effect.
