but of course...., oh, you were talking about trouble making, not Grey Poupon. Ahem! Hah! It's like 72, Sunny and blowing here again. Unfortunately, here I sit at work with no crew for this evening and a list of Honey Do's.

Yes, its like Fat Guy walking up 12 stairs hot here today....

Speaking of cooling down, this time last year I was helicopter skiing in Lake Wanaka, NZ...It's winter there. Its on the southern island and you ski The Buchanan Range which jumps from sea level to 10,000 feet. Your average run is 4000 vertical feet. To give you some perspective, Vail, CO which is considered a large mountain has about 1500 vertical feet per run. If you ever sail to NZ, it is worth checking out the southern islands.
Feeling better?

I don't feel compelled to lecture anyone about anything, but it is a matter of trying to be helpful...when someone asks for advice or ideas but puts it in the middle of a thread that has nothing to do with the question then it makes it hard for someone who may offer help to find it. Afterall, I thought part of the idea behind the boards was to share info.
Glad you find it amusing Surfesq...I find your narcissism amusing, but definitely not attractive.

Look, you seem like a nice person so I will go easy. But you have it all wrong Kokopelli. You are here for my entertainment.

Let me illustrate my point.

"I don't feel compelled to lecture anyone about anything, but it is a matter of trying to be helpful..."

Actually, you didn't really mean that at all did you? I mean you know I am the narcisist here right? Or is it you perhaps?...Lets examine that question a little further shall we? ....Here are a few nuggets of your helpful wisdom over the past few weeks:

"People, just like sails, are the least effective when noisy and impatient."

"A lot of us who used to hang out here are not finding this new board layout as user friendly as the old sailnet was...and it's also hard to reply to threads as they keep getting highjacked and taken..."

"Bulletin boards are a source of gathering info...we all then have the obligation to ourselves and our own needs and likes to take that info and learn from it and act on it."

You are like Aunt Bee or something. And by the way... me not attractive? Oh I think you kind of dig me.

Hmm, sounds like Mr. Sensitive Ponytail Man. You know the RA in your dorm from college who only allowed APPROVED material to be posted on the lobby bulletin board.

Or the one who told on you when your girlfriend stayed over or if you had a few bonghits with the boys during the football game....

But I think there is hope for Aunt Bee. Here is my suggestion. We take her out for drinks and encourage her to try some Jamaican Rum....If you have ever been to Jamaica they sell this stuff called "overproof rum." Its crazy...Wray and Nephews White rum is one brand I can remember. Its like pure alcohol. Definitely causes brain damage I think. So anyway, we all get wasted...you know Fight Club Style...and its all good. Until the next day when we are praying for death...But thats another topic for another day.

Sorry to disappoint you "Dude", but no one is on this board for your entertainment. Nor is the imbibing of copious amounts of Rum a cure for anything. You talk like a bratty kid, you act like a bratty kid.........reminds me of something about...if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck.

While your snide smugness may make you feel like a big man, all it really does is show how small you are. Since you seem to need someone to belittle on a daily basis, I suggest you direct it to me and leave the rest of the decent people on here alone. That way, you can continue your post padding so it looks like you actually have something to say. I realize, it's hard for you, since you're so perfect, to put up with the rest of us who have legitimate questions and try to give helpful answers, but I'm sure if you try, you might be able to post something that isn't deragatory, and is actually constructive. You may be the greatest sailor that ever lived, but you sure don't act like much of a person.

And, just to show how easy it is to emulate your behavior, I'll let you know I don't post here often because it's no fun having a battle of wits with someone who isn't armed.
