Ko!?

Does the Thesaurus really say that? You got me over to my bookshelves to grab Roget's and sure enough over there in the "T" section Somwhere around "Thomas Jefferson" and "The Once and Future King" it wasn't to be found. My ageing brain had once again betrayed me and lost a treasured item! Soooooo............... I snached up my copy of Merriam Webster"s!

Banshee noun [Irish bean sidhe & Scottish Galic bean sith, literally, women of fairyland] (1771)
: a female sprit in Galic folklore whose appearance or wailing warns a family that one of them will soon die

LOL! That "women of Fairyland" has a tad of Irony attached to the Nome de Plume eh?

I believe it might have been one of my favorites, Steven Wright, who asked "What's another word for Thresaurus?"

Not a nome de plume, per se, but a nome de boat! Loosely interpreted an Irish Witch.

It reminds me of the comedian who types "google" into Google and the phone rings...a voice on the other line says, "Don't do that again."

kokopelli9 is an unknown quantity at this point
A thesaurus is our friend. And sorry ETB...go find your pictures elsewhere. It's not worth my time to post them for you. The "bad breath" thing was a quote from a very old and wise friend...and it has nothing to do with breath.
I am not surprised that you like that title...you see yourself as the jury for all of the world...certainly for us. So have you condemned all of us yet or do you still need us for friends ?
