What year Shovel? I ride m'self but swore off ridin' bulls at the ripe old age of 16, when I rode the first one. I ride most anything else if it's loud, fast or cute...., to a point that is.

banshee,
Barritts Ginger Beer is only brewed in Bermuda, as well as Goslings Black Seal Rum. But both are easily obtainable in most coastal New England package stores . . . especially near sailing communities. Well, at least on Aquidneck Island (Newport County, RI), that's the case.

DO NOT substitute ginger ale . . . completely different stuff. Barritts is only made with natural ginger root - non-alcoholic, but something happens when mixed with Black Seal.

Personally, I add 2 oz rum to 6 oz Barritts (one bottle makes two drinks) . . . for a stronger kick in the pants.

That brings to mind an old jingle.

"Ride a Harley, ride the best. Ride a mile and walk the rest."

No offense to our newest poster.

ETB...I'm not trying to be a part of anything with you... this isn't your club...you simply started a thread but without us you would be bored and have nothing.
And believe me you need not explain anything to me...let me remind you...I understand your narcissism...I have known many like you... thus the need for this thread.
Don't you realize that you had included me and quit calling me Aunt B until I put you on the defensive...typical reaction of a narcisisstic creature...they have to retreat and go back to what they think works.
But isn't it fun?

I had a Liver.

That liver and I got along very well indeed. Altho I hardly paid any attention to the loyal old thing. It worked it's little gut's out (hell: sometimes I even wow myself!) while I abused it for my amusement until I fell bemused.

Jack was my choice as my regular vice, and the single barrel if I felt not in tune. Technically a Tennesse whiskey. Just a bourbon by another name. A Rose is a rose.....

I drank it up (double ent.) no ice no water. Unless there was a nessessity to look to the local constabulary, who occationally would be perched on a stool nearby in the local strip joint, like I was a lightweight.

Days and dazes ago...LOL!
