My thoughts exactly as I read that.
Also don't tell somebody that EVER, until you've gotten to know them a bit, especially at a cocktail social.

I got rid of a 130 malignant tumor a few years ago - divorced in 2003! It was a very expensive operation!

No she had a big nasty scar on her stomach which she also showed me. She was pretty hot but the whole tumor thing was just such a deal killer! You would think at some point she would say what is the f**in lump in my stomach! Geez
Banshee: Been there done that! lol
Has anyone noticed that PBooty is missing action? Very much not like her. Now theres a gal without tumors! lol.

I have noticed PB's absence, I leave for a week and come back and she is MIA. I thought maybe you guys upset her. Or maybe she has been eaten out of house and home.

Just got into the office from the boat . . . the guilt from ignoring my professional obligations was just too much. It's tough when your soul relies on going sailing but the checking account relies on "serving somebody" - as Bob D. once said.

Regardless, after an extended weekend of mixed weather, awesome both yesterday and today, it's time to get back to working for a living.

Glad to see you guys are keeping the banter going.

True Blue

A couple of friends of mine are kicking around Maine this week and reported a "Spot of Weather". Did you catch some weather this weekend? How does the Nauticat handle a rough seaway?

Their construction is quite hardy, no coring whatsoever in hull or deck. I do believe that is the S/S design also.

I ask because the wheel house is a tad off the water (the fair weather outside station is very high), and I wondered how much roll affected her.

Dewey,
Saturday and Sunday saw mostly clouds, scattered rain showers and a couple of thunderstorms - which as you know are accompanied by high winds and high seas.

We didn't stay out on the Bay long on either of those days, which is why we decided to take yesterday and this morning off for some very fine sailing. Being my daughter's birthday yesterday, her wish was to just get out there and do it - which we did, and had a great time.

True Blue handles heavy weather OK, as long as we reef early. It's not too hard to put the rail down under full sail, and with our aft deck rail 5'-10" off the water, we will heel excessively if she's not trimmed right. She also rolls in a heavy beam sea, unless some sail is up to act as a stabilizer. But the boat is relatively dry due to the wide bow flare and bulwarks.
