Since we're talking music .....

Ok, here's the deal. You make a 20 song CD of music you have, for playing on your boat.

Music on the Wind - Suzzy Boggus (cause that's where my boat name comes from)
4th movement - Beethoven's 5th Symphony
Drivin' Wheel - Poco
St Paul Suite - Gustav Holst
Cry No More - Outlaws
Look Away - Ozark Mountain Daredevils
Dancing the Night Away - Amazing Rythym Aces
You Were On My Mind - We Five
Heaven Only Knows - Emmylou Harris
Blessed is the Rain - The Brooklyn Bridge
You Can Feel Bad - Patty Loveless
Kathleen MacArthur - Tommy James
In the Name of Love - Mary Chapin Carpenter
3rd Brandenburg Concerto - Bach
Hot Burrito #1 - Flying Burrito Brothers
Sugar Mountain - Neil Young
On the Way Home - Buffalo Springfield
He Doesn't See Me - Sarah Brightman
I Can't Make Music - Carpenters
Simple Man - Gary Puckett and the Union Gap

So, what would your CD have?

That's a hard one. I've got over 3000 songs on my MP3 player that I bring with me, so I match almost any mood I'm in.

And I see you're a Poco fan.

This is more of a 20 Favorites. I also have a ton of songs on MP3, and often just set it to random.

Yes, been a Poco fan from the beginning and have all but a couple of their albums on CD. Did you realize that every bass player the Eagles have had came from Poco?

Hard one all right. As a side note, this is an interesting interview with Frank Zappa on Crossfire about lyrics.

No I didn't. I new that they were a influence on the whole southern rock scene. I play most Sundays with Richie Furay, although I don't currently have any Poco or Buffalo Springfield in my collection.

Nice album that one. Chris Hillman's Desert Rose stuff is pretty tasty as well. I believe he was in another band at some time in the past. I'm told it was pretty popular in it's day.

Ah Rose of Cimmaron (sp?) is still in my collectin and I couldn't be without BS's Retrospective. Playing with RF has to be good. What do you play ?
