I agree with you... its a good idea.

I will still decay "dead" and "silly" threads, though...sorry...

BF - what Texas dry air? Maybe in Western Texas, but not here on the Bay.

Most of the world pictures Texas with tumbleweeds like in the westerns and that is true for the western part of the state. The eastern part of the state is a subtropical forest (known as the big thicket) and Houston sits on the edge of that forest with humidity in the 60 to 90 percent range much of the time. Sauna anyone? Pigslo's lesson for the day.

Thanx for the lesson Pigslo, when I get to go to central america i think i'll take the direct route from florida now. That kind of humidity would wear my @$$ out before I ever got there.

Isn't the humidity in Florida the same as on Texas gulf coast?

Tell him the only people that wear them in Portugual get beat-up. And, they don't come with soles suitable for the boat.

Don't tell someone from Texas they cannot wear Cowboy boots on their boats. Go to a Texas boat show and I guarantee you that there will be at least a few people (typically on motorboats) that are wearing their boots.

There is a marina near here called Lowes Highport. I know CardiacPaul knows it. There was a guy that used to own the Bene line there that stood on his boats with boots. Cannot remember his name (he was the owner/salesman). Not little boats either (40CC Oceanis, for example).

People are "interesting". And for the record - I own a cowboy hat and a pair of boots... and love 'em!! (but not on my boat).
