Sarcasm didn't work, so - no sense of soft soaping it. You just don't get it do you?
I'm saying, based on your posts, and in my POV, you are one of the maniacs having that effect - you are just on the opposite side of the issue from them.

It's my POV, feel free to dismiss it, bothers me not a bit.

All the best to you, Chuckles.
Wish I could Ragnar, where I grew up and how I grew up if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and smells like a duck you call it a duck. I don't pass a duck on the street and hope someone else will clean up it's droppings, I take either take care it, or at least point out the pile of smelly stuff.

I DO so enjoy talking with you

Best to you (sincerely) as well.

Intriguing thought, but you'd need to explain what you mean a little more for me to know just what you are talking about.

It's all about the reality jag that ragnar gets on sometimes, linking me to Soros is his way of making a high brow jab at me.

google soros, popper and even David Hume, you'll have to spend a hour of so of reading to get the gist of it. It comes to 'real truth is not real but incomplete' or some such metaphysical mumbo jumbo (I'm pulling this out of memory from reading an article a couple years ago)

Or let it go as Ragnar being Ragnar to which I give the proper response above : 'Huh?' and moving on...
Edit -
Found the article:
Ragnar's jab come from this thought stream:

Soros writes “…Popper’s Book, ‘The Open Society and Its Enemies’ struck me with the force of revelation and prompted me to explore the author’s philosophy. He argued that the Nazi and Communist ideologies have something in common; they both claim to be in possession of the ultimate truth. Since the ultimate truth is beyond human reach, both ideologies had to be based on a biased and distorted interpretation of reality; consequently, they could be imposed on society only by the use of repressive methods. He (Popper) juxtaposed a different principle of social organization that is based on the recognition that claims to the ultimate truth cannot be validated. Popper called this principle “open society,” and he held it out as preferable to a definitive design.”

SOme how he links my comments on Nazi's not believing compromise to Soros.

Do you see know Wind?

Just say Huh?
