Ragnar,
despite your pontification, posturing, obfuscation, and general refusal to stay on course, the guy that wrote that article is a whack-job wing nut that HAS NO standing in the chosen field.

I could write a white paper on the effects of light beer and the libido of wombat herders, but it won't hold much water... cuz I dunno nuffin 'bout birfin no wombats.

Artwerke is on a distinguished road
Global warming, it seems to me, must have been going on since the glaciers started heading North from central Ohio.It has undoubtedly had some ups & downs since then, like Greenland once being green, on vinland once being warm enough to grow grapes. West Texas was once under the sea,or some one with more resources than I can imagine, planted a lot of marine fossiles around here as some kind of joke. So many GW advocates take the view that beaver dams are natural beauty at it's highest, and Hoover Dam is at best an eyesore. Man is part of nature, Frank Loyd Wright's Riverhouse is at least as beautiful as an African termite mound and probable emits much less methane. Is a Portugee Man o War more beautiful under sail than my old Irwin? It depends on your point of view. If you start with a self loathing "Man is always the problem" slant ,you probably won't be happy until man is extinct, and miss the good old days when it looked like the U.S. & the U.S.S.R. would take care of the problem once and for all. Please excuse a little rambling, but life is short, so raise the main sail, & smile. Art.

tigerregis has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Clearly, Ragnar's POV was evident from his first post, as is sailingdog's. These kind of helpers to a "sailing" site need shrinks, not moderators. These guys are still arguing about angels on pins. The ignore button is just not used enough.

What the hell are you talking about... my first post in this thread was:

And putting me in the same category as Ragnar is an insult. I don't see you contributing in any useful way to any thread you've participated in..just acting the troll and taking potshots at others. Farking idjit.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
