Sailaway...Beck is best known for his morning radio talk show. He is much funnier on the radio and the CNN show is usually not as good. Nevertheless, definitely not a typical CommieNewsNet program!
Worth a listen on the radio if you can find him where you live. Here's the Michigan affilliates list. YOU would enjoy is sense of humour!

Especially considering the Druidic roots of the Wiccan religion are far older than Christianity.....

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

And some of those Druidic roots were carried over in to Christianity.

Not a lot of originality in the Judao/Christianity religion. Virtually everything of note was ripped off from older religions and belief systems. It's what makes the one and only God claim as farcical as it is. The fact that said one and only god appears to be a schizophrenic adds a somewhat ironic touch.

Here's a new global warming article from a distinguished climatology prof. at MIT writing in this weeks Newsweek. Anyone who thinks there is a consensus among reputable scientists on Global Warming should find this interesting reading!

There was a good report on the Discovery Channel (or one of those educational ones) about the warming. Their main concern was that all the ice melting would affect or stop the ocean currents, like the Gulf Stream. Without the streams, an ice age could actually develope. In that places like the British Isles are the same latitude as Siberia, it could be devastating.

USCG - the key word in all their statements is MIGHT. That's the problem with the problem. No one knows with any degree of certainty what WILL happen, only various scenerio's of what MIGHT happen.

After all, if you get in your car and drive it today, you MIGHT get killed.

Cam,
I am glad he threw in the statement, "the alleged solutions have more potential for catastrophe than the putative problem", which is really the heart of the matter.
