Neat heavy weather ship video

I've seen a number of still photos of container ships in heavy weather, but here's the view from the bridge of a mid-sized vessel rockin' and rollin' in the weather... it's pretty amazing (to me)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTWIM25uycg

And some more heavy weather on a slightly platform supply vessel..

Have a go at this. Pay attention near the end and I don't mean the surfer.

The ship is light (in ballast) and stiffer'n a board. Fairly normal motion for that condition. Put the seas on her quarter and she'll be snapping off radio masts.

I think the surfer got the best of that one. Or was that a James Bond escape from the sailing vessel? That reminds me of that Complete Escape Raft System Cam bought in Montreal. I thought I recognized the board.

I believe the surfer video was special effects put together as an advertisement for some company.. there's been a few threads on this board about it.

YouTube - The Perfect Storm, but wait... What's that?=
The surf video is real but blended with the storm and boat footage.
